This program runs in the three weeks leading up to our Twilight Series, which is a 6-week series designed for specifically for beginners. It is held in parks and reserves around Hobart and will give you the skills to enable you to enjoy the events.

The Spring Twilight Series runs on Wednesday afternoons from 29 Oct until 3 Dec 2025 in parks and reserves around Hobart. The events are suitable for beginners and you can start anytime between 3:30pm and 6:00pm.

The three sessions immediately precede each event. The cost includes all three tuition sessions and entry to all events. At each session we will give you the skills to enable you to successfully complete and enjoy the following event – and future bush events. These include:
- Using a compass to navigate
- Interpreting the map symbols
- Reading contours
- Basic strategies
You do not need any special gear, we will lend you compasses and timing chips.
Fee for the 3-week program (including the events)
