To simplify administration and to be consistent with Orienteering Australia policy, there will be a change to the membership structure for next year.

Every member can now join a club only as an individual.   While family memberships will no longer be available, the changes mean that many families will be better off under the new membership structure.

  • Adult memberships will stay at $50 per year
  • Adult concession holders (those with either a Pensioner Concession Card or a Student ID card) will pay $25 per year. Concession holders will be asked to provide proof of status by sending a copy or scan of their card to the OT secretary
  • Junior membership (under 21yrs) will be reduced to just $10 per year
  • Junior membership plus free entry to all local events will remain at $90 per year

You will soon receive a renewal notice explaining how to renew your membership. If you held family membership this year, you will find that in Eventor all members of your family have already been changed to either adult membership or junior membership.  This will make it easier for you to do the renewals.  Just like with entering events, you will be able do the renewals in a single transaction.

Please be aware that these changes affect just your annual membership.  When you enter events you will still receive discounts if you enter all members of your family in an event as a single transaction.
