Membership

New requirement for competitors to be registered with Orienteering Tasmania commenced in 2010

You must be or become a full or casual member of Orienteering Tasmania to enter an event

Prior membership is not necessary. When you register for your first event you will automatically become a casual member. Full Membership of Esk Valley Orienteering Club is also available. Full membership means lower event fees and a number of other benefits including newsletters, a subscription to the Orienteering Australia magazine and discounts at a variety of sports and bushwalking outlets in Launceston.

Nth Street Series

Find yourself orienteering in 2010
Experience the fun of orienteering and get to know your local neighbourhood.
Start the new year with Esk Valley Orienteering Club’s evening series, perfect for families and newcomers.

Northern Street Series - 13 January to 10 February
Get fit using the suburban streets in and around Launceston. Find short cuts through parks and lane ways you didn’t know existed.

Do as many events as you want.
Choose from 3 different courses lengths at each event
No prior navigation experience necessary
Turn up at a time to suit you between 5.30 and 6.30pm. Finish by 7.30pm
Assistance available. Just turn up on the day
You just need comfortable shoes for running or walking the streets
Fun and fitness outdoors for all ages

January 20 West Launceston area
6 St Andrews St, West Launceston
January 27 Norwood/Youngtown area
Cemetery gates, Nunamina Avenue, Kings Meadows
February 3 Kings Meadows area
Bruce Davidson Centre, northern end of Guy St, Kings Meadows
February 10 Invermay
Hoo Hoo Hut, Heritage Forest, Conway St, Mowbray. BBQ to follow event.
