EVOC, Australopers and WROC are combining forces in order to bring you the very best orienteering this side of Stockholm.
Updated Information
Day one will be fast and furious action in the erosion gullies of Chiron.
Starts will be between 1 and 3pm. Course closure is at 4pm.
Map: Chiron 1:10000   8 Courses of sprint length.
Day two features classic length TOS races on Jason’s Task.  
Starts from 10am to 12pm. Course closure is at 2pm.
Day three will spice it up with a fun relay for teams of two. Each team can choose to compete in any one of the following courses (both runners will run the chosen length):  4.8 Km, 4.1 Km, 3.5 Km, 1.8 Km (easy navigation) Both team members will run at the same time and run a similar yet not exactly the same course. First team with both members across the line wins.

Sun 20th June 2010 - Stephensdale - Northern Sunday Series
Event Info.     For some “dam” good fun try your skills at Warren’s World with courses from a ‘Stephensdale Six’ down to a walk on the ‘wild  west side of town’. Stay for a hit of tennis and BBQ facilities available for those who wish to dine out!!
Location         Stephensdale Farm Map. 1:10,000.  5 metre contours
Start                23 Rowsphorn Rd, Riverside. From Launceston drive north on West Tamar Highway until Pomona Rd Traffic lights and turn left [West] Follow Pomona rd through round about and then veer right at intersection with Pitt Ave at shops. After next roundabout proceed straight ahead up and over big hill on Rowsphorn Rd over 3 speed humps and then park in marked entrance on right at #23. 2 minute walk to start.
Start times      10.00am -12.00noon.
Course close   1.30 pm
Courses          Long – hard  5.5-6.0 km approx;      Medium – Moderate hard  3.5 -4.0km ;       Short – Moderate easy 2.5+ approx;        Walkers only – Moderate 2.5 km approx;       String – for the young at heart

Sun 27th June 2010 - Risdon Brook Reserve - Southern Local & 5 Peaks Challenge
The 5 Peaks is a challenging but rewarding run in the Meehan Range. Starting from Risdon Brook Dam it is a steep, approximately 15km unmarked run that takes you to the top of two unnamed hills plus Grasstree Hill, Gunners Quoin and Mt Direction. A colour map is provided and you can visit the peaks in any order. The fastest runners take around two hours and the slowest about five hours to complete the run. Many treat the event as a fast, navigation orientated bushwalk. You need to be self sufficient for food, water & medical supplies.
Standard orienteering courses will also be offered

Courses: 5 peaks, Easy, Short (approx 2.5km) and Long (approx 5.5km)
Maps: Will be pre-marked
Start Times: Choice of two mass starts  at 9am (slower runners please) and 10am for the 5 peaks. Other courses start between 10am and noon.
Sportident: Sportident timing will be used for all courses including the 5 peaks. Plenty of SI sticks will be available for loan at the event but please bring your own if you have one.
