Membership

All participants in events run by Orienteering Tasmania and its affiliated clubs are required to become members.  We have two types of membership for participants.  
Full Membership for the participant who wishes to access all the benefits of this membership category including membership of one of our affiliated clubs and reduced event fees;
Casual Membership for the participant who just wishes to participate in an irregular manner with access to limited benefits;

Full Membership

Senior (21 and over) $40
Junior/Concession $20
Family $100
From June 30 to September 30, Full Member Registration will be less 50% of full fee and, from October 1, Full Member Registration will be valid until end 2011.
Benefits: Discount entry fees, the Orienteering Tasmania E-Bulletin, the Orienteering Tasmania newsletter (O Know), the national magazine (The Australian Orienteer), access to additional services offered by OT affiliated clubs, the right to represent Tasmania in state teams, the right to represent Australia in national teams, and the right to be officially recognised in “championship” classes in all Tasmanian Championships.

How to Join as a Full Member of an Orienteering Club

• Print out and complete the Full Registration Form. Complete all sections and sign the form. If you are unsure which club to choose in your region, contact one of the club secretaries. (see the clubs pages on this website)
• Post this form to OT Memberships Officer, 326 Murray Street, Hobart 7000
• Pay your membership by including a cheque with your membership form or pay by direct deposit to Orienteering Tasmania BSB 067002 , Account 28000581, Reference MEMBERNNNNNNN where NNNNNNN is your first initial and surname.

Casual Membership

Features: Compulsory registration with limited personal information required upon attendance at first orienteering event in the calendar year. Membership is valid for all of the calendar year. Event fee paid at your first event in a calendar year is the Casual Member Registration fee for that year.
Benefits: Entry to all events conducted by Orienteering Tasmania and affiliated clubs, the Orienteering Tasmania E-Bulletin, access to coaching instruction, the right to convert to full membership at any stage.

How to Join as a Casual Member

• Print out and complete the Casual Registration Form . Complete all sections and sign the form.
• Post this form to OT Memberships Officer, 326 Murray Street, Hobart 7000
• Pay your membership by including a cheque with your membership form or pay by direct deposit to Orienteering Tasmania BSB 067002 , Account 28000581, Reference MEMBERNNNNNNN where NNNNNNN is your first initial and surname.

NOTE: Children under 10 completing a course as a member of a group in the company of adults or older children, participate free of charge.
